I’m the face behind the camera! And that is one of my favourite places to be.

I grew up on an acerage South of Swift Current where there were beautiful rolling hills to roam, a creek to wade, and sky as far as the eye could see. I fell in love with creation all around me. The beauty of the outdoors was captivating. Now, I am blessed to call the great outdoors my studio.

My passion for photography started with a good old 24 shot disposable film camera at summer camp. Every summer, I would be allowed to buy one, take it to camp, and then have the anticipation of dropping off my film at Pharmasave just to wait patiently for a WHOLE HOUR for my pictures to be processed and printed.

Then my next camera was a little digital Canon Powershot. And from there on I was hooked. But I began to notice a change when everything went to digital. It was way harder to enjoy your photos. Yes you could take way more pictures than 24 at a time, but then they just sat around on an SD card or flash drive. My pictures were lucky if they made it onto a computer, and even luckier if they ever made it off !

When I started thinking about how I wanted to shape my business, I knew that was something I needed to change. Photos need to make it off your computer. Out of your camera roll. Beyond your social media feed. They need to make it into your hands and into your home!
